Tibalik

Product

Tibalik means inside out in the Sudanese language, it’s an old tradition used by the Sudanese people. This tradition became integrated in Conowaso because until 1836 it was a colony of Sudan. Since its independence the Tibalik became a required product for all inhabitants of Conowaso.

Originally this product was only used in the desert to protect the people from the sun and the heavy sandstorms. Given that Conowaso consist of a colder northern part, we adjusted the Tibalik to this subarctic climate. When you turn the Tibalik inside out, it protects the head against the cold, snowstorms and the heavy wind. In the desert, the headgear keeps out the warmth and the special foil protects the eyes from the sand grains.
